Don Spurling

I have always been passionate about capturing special moments and turning them into lasting memories. Photography allows me to freeze time and tell stories through my lens. I shoot with a Nikon Z8 and a variety of lenses, including a Tamron 35-150mm, Nikon Nikkor Z 85mm S, Nikkor 20mm S, and Nikon Nikkor 150-600mm, giving me the flexibility to capture everything from intimate portraits to sweeping landscapes. My journey started in public service as a firefighter and paramedic, dedicating years to helping others in emergencies. Now, as an ED/ICU registered nurse, I continue to care for people in critical moments. Through all of life’s transitions, photography has been my creative outlet—a way to document the beauty of everyday life, the excitement of new adventures, and the emotions that make each moment unique.
